The main products![]() Bag filter Structure and Working Principle of Bag Filters A bag filter is a pressure-type filtration device primarily composed of key components such as the filter cylinder, filter cover and quick-opening mechanism, and a stainless steel filter bag reinforcement net. The filtrate flows into the filter bag through the lateral inlet pipe on the outer shell of the filter. The filter bag itself is installed within the reinforcement basket. Liquid passes through the filter bag of the required fineness grade to obtain qualified filtrate, while impurity particles are intercepted by the filter bag. This machine allows for very convenient replacement of filter bags and involves virtually no material consumption during filtration. Bag filters boast a reasonable structure, excellent sealing performance, strong flow capacity, and easy operation, among many other advantages. In particular, the low likelihood of side leakage from the filter bag ensures accurate filtration accuracy and allows for rapid filter bag replacement, reducing operational costs. The inner and outer surfaces of the filter undergo mechanical sandblasting and polishing for a uniform and easy-to-clean finish. As we know, bag filters employ a side-in, side-out filtration method, or alternatively, a side-in, bottom-out method. The filtration liquid medium is pressed or suctioned into the bag filter housing through pressure in the pipeline. The liquid medium to be filtered passes through the filter bag supported by an electro-polished perforated support basket, resulting in solid-liquid separation and filtered liquid. The structural design of bag filters features four sets of toggle latch bolts that securely seal and lock the top cover and filter cylinder, enabling the filter to withstand extremely high filtration pressures and water hammer pressure impacts. Bag filters consist of three parts: the filter cylinder, filter basket, and filter bag, making the structure compact and simple. The liquid to be filtered enters through the filter inlet, flows into the filter bag, is intercepted by the filter bag, and then exits through the filter outlet. The inlet and outlet design of bag filters generally adopts a side-in, bottom-out configuration for easy cleaning. Product Classification Bag filters are classified into several types: single-bag filters, multi-bag filters, swing-arm bag filters, high-precision bag filters, etc., with filtration accuracies ranging from 1 to 10 micrometers.
