Fully Automatic Dosing Device
I. Operating Principle
The dosing device is a module assembled on a common platform according to the process flow requirements, with the metering pump as the main dosing equipment, and the dissolving tank, agitator, dosing device level gauge, safety valve, check valve, pressure gauge, filter, buffer, pipeline, valve, base, ladder, automatic monitoring system, power control system, etc. are assembled on the platform to form a module, which is known as a skid-mounted combined unit (referred to as "skid"). Put a certain amount of reagent into the mixing solution tank as needed for stirring and dissolving. After dissolution, it is sent to the dosing point through a metering pump. The amount of reagent can be freely adjusted to meet the needs of different dosing sites.
The dosing device adopts a mechanical and electrical integration structure, which can be divided into fixed and mobile (cart-type) installation types. Each type of dosing device is equipped with a mixing system, a dosing system, and an automatic control system. Several fixed skids can be combined into a whole, and with a frequency conversion control system, local control, remote automatic control, manual and automatic conversion of dosing can be achieved. The dosing device is designed through different processes to accurately configure solutions of various solid and liquid chemicals, and then accurately dosed with a metering pump to meet various design requirements. Such as descaling, deoxygenation, coagulation, acid addition, alkali addition, etc.
The dosing process can be manually operated, or it can be automated through various electrical devices and instruments such as PCs, magnetic level gauges, pH meters, travel controllers, and frequency converters, making the dosing device an electromechanical integrated product that achieves automatic control.
The dosage and pressure of the dosing device can be adjusted according to the needs of the industrial process by selecting a suitable metering pump. Suitable products can be selected from the range of flow rate from 1L/h to 8000L/h and pressure from 0.1MPa to 25MPa,
The metering accuracy of the metering pump can be as high as ±1%, and it can achieve simultaneous delivery of multiple media and independent adjustment.
The volume of the solution tank in the dosing device can range from a minimum of 0.1m3 to 20m3, and can be selected based on the dosage. Depending on the delivery medium, there are a variety of materials to choose from, such as carbon steel (carbon steel rubber lining), stainless steel, non-metallic materials (PE, PVC, PP, PTFE), and so on.
II. Performance Description
The complete set of equipment mainly includes a feeding system, a storage tank, a dosing system, a power control system, etc. The dissolving tank is equipped with facilities required for automatic operation, such as level gauges, low-level alarms, and valves. The external wall of the tank is equipped with a magnetic flap level gauge to observe the liquid level in the tank in real time. There are feed and spare ports on the top of the tank, and discharge, drain, overflow, level gauge interfaces, and corresponding supporting valves on the side of the tank. When the liquid level in the barrel is lower than the set low liquid level value, the alarm system will be automatically turned on and the dosing pump will be paused. The dosing system includes centrifugal pumps, electromagnetic flowmeters, and related valves.
